VR-class

The science

behind the experience.

In the early stages, the team’s main goal was to develop a functional tool and test it in teaching practice. Even so, we were able to present the concept and the results of our initial studies at a number of conferences in the Czech Republic and abroad.

Prestigious recognition

Social Impact Award

In 2022, the Virtual Classroom received this award at The Rii Forum conference.

What have we learned?

Virtual reality does not solve everything, but when it comes to training challenging or sensitive situations, it offers clear benefits. Our research so far points to several key findings:

High learning effectiveness

VR significantly enhances retention and experiential learning. It allows users to practice situations ranging from classroom management to parent communication.

Revealing hidden weaknesses

In a structured environment, shortcomings become visible that would otherwise remain unnoticed in teaching practice.

Motivation and limitations

Participants describe the experience as highly engaging and realistic. At the same time, we recognize the need to address technical limitations, such as cybersickness, and to use VR as a complementary tool.
